Served in a Ladenburger pokal.
Pours a pale golden straw, with a nice jet stream bubbling toward the rich, thick head. The aroma is somewhat dull, with subtle notes of hopes, citrus, and even a bit of wheat-like grass creeping in as well, but nothing too strong. The taste, however, is anything but boring, as a crisp, semi-bitter blend of hops and citrus flow over the tongue. The balance is lovely, as is the nicely moderate body, which allows for many, many minutes of constant imbibing. Personally, this is the best-tasting pils that I have ever had!
