Press a very happy orange-ish golden-straw color. Creamy white head.
Aroma is citrus, a touch nutty, piney, guava, and mango. Very tropical fruit forward.
Flavor has that nutty thing I get from good NE IPAs. Guava and mango. Orange. Some pine. Starts quite sweet, but it was away quite nicely and doesn't build.
Mouth feel is somewhat heavily bodied with moderate, yet prickly carbonation. Alcohol burn is present, but feels appropriate for the ABV.
Overall, this is a fine NE IPA and I'm very happy to find such a fine example in Tokyo.
