Black with a small tan head, this is a nice, smooth stronger porter with a good, full roasty character with hints of dark raisin in aroma and taste. It is well balanced with gentle sweetness and bitterness. It has a pretty full character but not very complex or nuanced. It has good character overall and is very enjoyable but not outstanding.
