Copenhagen 9/9 2021. 47.3 cl can from Ølkassen web-shop Black gothic can with two slightly rotting Gentlemen with even more rotting specimens decorating their shields. Beer Zombies, indeed.
Pours opaque, golden orange with a small white head. Settles as a very thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet fermented odor of fermented, decaying, tropical fruit mingling with more subdued citric notes. Mango and papaya. Grapefruit and lime.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a bit boozy with a notable strong bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Damn ugly but a potent bowl of Zombie IPA.
