Picked this up after volunteering for the Free the Whales festival held at HopFly Brewing in Charlotte 7-1-23. No canning date; consumed 2-29-24. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a chunky orange with lots of floaties and little head.
Nose is very nice, reminds me of the Banana Boat tanning lotion of 40 years ago.
Taste initially was puckering but as i sip on it goes into full Pina Colada mode and turns into a sweet cocktail.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied but not overly refreshing.
Overall I'll give the brewing team credit for executing a cocktail, but this is not really a beer in my book.
