10/2/24 (Hotel Room at The Ahern) (Las Vegas, NV). Collaboration beer between Beer Zombies and The Punk Rock Museum. 16 oz canned 7/5/24. 9/29 gift beer from brother. 5.0% ABV European Lager, brewed and canned by Beer Zombies Brewing Company, 831 W. Bonanza Road, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Appearance: Poured about 2/3 of the can into a shaker pint glass, yielding long lasting creamy bright white head leaving significant bubbly lacing though out and a creamy white cover over the clear yellow straw base with an initial burst of carbonation that slows to a trickle after the initial pour. Looks very good. 4.25
Aroma: Pure grain / rubbing alcohol, can’t get anything else after a few attempts. 1.5
Taste: Slightly better taste, breast, light salt and grassy, light in strength. Seems a bit flat. 2.75
Mouthfeel: Faint carbonation lingers, slightly dry, hoppy overall, though the faint flavor comes from the malt. Drinks at the ABV, sweet bread finish. 2.75
Overall: I wanted to like this beer, but it is not for me, with no parts I can highlight beyond looks. 2.5
