Although I tend to gravitate towards dessert-y stouts and porters in regards to indulgent rewards and celebration, this is what I go for after a particularly rough day of work with big strides and accomplishments :) It has a lovely, refreshing sweetness to it without being overly sweet; somehow it works!
It's a vibrant, translucent medium yellow in color, reminds me of pineapple juice. Aroma is sweet and beckoning, yet mild and unimposing; I can't nail any particular notes at this time, but I'll edit the review if this changes. Flavor is mostly sweet and tooty-fruity with notes of sweet pineapple, mango, with a little bit of apricot and peach and just the barest hint of...horchata? Or a creamy churro? That's a thinker. As it warms up, I'm also getting some distinct red apple notes towards the end. But please note that all these flavors are somewhat subtle and the star of the show is the sweetness in and of itself
Speaking of sweetness-- it has a little zing for the mouthfeel, which I really like and have yet to experience with other beers so far! Makes it unique and stand out in my book :)
Definitely didn't expect an IPA to ever be anything like this! If you're looking for an IPA experience, this probably isn't it, but it does make an excellent dessert to finish off a big day

Poured from 16oz can into a glass mug. Canned 4/2/25.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze for the style and a finger of frothy ivory foam leaving a nice lace on the glass.
Smell: sweet, passionfruit, a little bit boozy. I gotta say I kinda like it, but it is a bit cloying, and I could see it not being in everyone's wheelhouse.
Taste: very sweet with a passionfruit-mango kind of fruitiness going on. Much like the aroma, it's almost cloyingly sweet, but I like the hop character and so I'm still liking this beer. But it's teetering on the edge of too much, even for me.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and actually a really good creaminess. All that sugar has to be good for something!
Overall: like I said, this is hovering so close to too-sweet-for-me territory, but for whatever reason, I'm vibing with this beer today.
