A beer colab with a deathcore band? Awesome.
Pours a peachy amber color. Almost looks like filtered pear juice. A single finger of bone white head forms from the pour, leaving some lacing, but not persistent. Sick can art. Apparently, it's the album cover of the band's latest release.
Sweet, fruity notes of pineapple, brown pear, apricot, white peach, red grape, and clementine mosh in front of the stage while sharp, floral bergamot and juniper scream into the mic. Savoury earthy notes of sugarcane juice, leek and raw potato skin provide instrumental support.
Comes across beautifully on the palate. Leans on the savoury side. Very floral and earthy. Grainy brown rice and millet notes show up here that I didn't pick up on the nose. Unsweetened apricot jam, clementine and grapefruit zest for the finish.
Absolutely crushable at 7.5% ABV. Reminds me of Focal Banger, from the Alchemist.
Top tier IPA. Very unique. A little pricey, but highly recommend picking it up if you see it. Single can was $6.99 at Circus Liquor in SCV.
