On tap at the George Hamilton Restaurant and Brewery in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

This one pours a fairly reddish color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.

This smells vaguely malty and slightly sweet, but I’d want a more toasty aroma for this style.

I don’t exactly understand what a red cream ale is. This is very thin and watery, with not enough of a dynamic malt character. I expect a more pleasant sweetness and more crispness in the style, and that didn’t really happen here.

This is light bodied, watery, but pretty drinkable.

This was extremely forgettable. The George Hamilton Brewery and Restaurant was a fun spot, but it doesn’t seem like they’re actually a great brewery.
