Look was typical. Low hop aroma as expected. A slight astringency but not enough to our you off. All the classic notes of an USA stout that comes in at 4%abv. Cherry wood, warm, pistachio nut on the end. Sweet to the perfect amount. Could have had a better head. Medium body and worth a try on draught.

On tap. Pours a dark brown color with a fingernail head that doesn't leave lacing. Nose is roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt and chocolate with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
Second best beer they do, and the only beer they do that doesn't feel lighter than the style should be. It's a potential canvas for variants.

L: Pitch black color with no lacing on the glass and not much of a head.
S: Toasty malt, notes of dark chocolate and coffee, some sweet molasses
T: A good bite of coffee and dark chocolate, a molasses sweetness comes at the end and a pleasant coffee bitterness.
F: Thin body and carbonation is way too high it is like drinking a soda.
O: If they figured out the carbonation and body this would be a decent stout.

Solid black with a light cream head. The smell has a great hint of molasses over the malt in the smell. The taste has great coffee notes. Really solid beer.
