I have only had this beer on tap at the brewery downtown. It has a great wheat ale look and smells the same. The taste is pretty good with a full flavor of wheat and hops. It does seem to taste a bit watered down, but this also makes it a perfect thirst quencher. Cheers.

A - Poured a hazed yellow color with a white head that fades quickly to a ring
S - Is of wheaty malt and banana
T - Follows the nose wheat malt with a banana flavor
M - This beer has a light body with medium carbonation to it
D - For what this beer is it's pretty decent light and refreshing with a good taste worth trying

Tried on tap at the brewery 6 Jun 2009. slightly cloudy deep golden beer. Aroma is full of bananas and clove. interplay of tartness and dryness with clove ever present. finish and aftertaste of green banana and some bubblegum. light body. squeeze of lemon really brings some balance.

Has a light citrussy aroma but I don't get any wheat malt. No hops which is ok, pretty much expected, for the style. But I get no yeast esters or anything other than that light citrus.
Pale gold, darker than yellow, but not much. Very small ring of white head. (How does one make a wheat beer that doesn't head?)
Flavor is actually not bad. Good hint of tart wheat malt and a litlle cereal grainniness. Some yeast esters but not phenolic like a bavarian. I get some good fruity american ale flavors. Hops are as they should be, a little for bitterness but pretty non-existant. Overall the flavor is a little sweeter than I would expect.
Body is pretty thin and the carbonation level on the low side. Makes me think the sweetness I get in the flavor is a fermetation ended early.
I probably wouldn't want to have this again. It's not bad at all just uninteresting.

Part of a sampler at the brewery - served up with a lemon wedge, so most everything smelled and tasted like lemons. It poured a light golden and almost transparent color with a pretty thick head. It had a bitter/tart citrus flavor to complement the hops, which weren't very strong in comparison. Quite drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. Poured a cloudy straw color with no head. Spicy grainy smell. Light to medium bodied with a thin watery mouthfeel. Has a tart, wheat malt flavor. a light, refreshing taste despite the watery mouthfeel. Served way too cold. Tasted better as it warmed up.

Reviewed from a sampler, from 2001 notes on our Rt. 66 trip. Just a little more than OK (nyuk! nyuk!). Nicely cloudy at least. Had less of a fruity taste than other wheat beer, but still a slight clove bite. A decent "crisp" lager-like taste.
