Fischer’s Brauhaus Mössingen “Heinerle Vollbier”

“Mindestens haltbar bis: 19.02.22”. Sampled on 20.09.21
Look: The clear straw gold body reveals very tiny bubbles rising steadily beneath a short head of bright white foam. The head retention and lacing are both very good.
Smell: Sweetish grainy malt backed by floral and herbal hops.
Taste: The flavor follows. A stiff bitterness runs through it, balancing it and drying it in the finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth.
Overall: Flavorful but not overdone, and certainly not at 4.8% ABV. It’s refined, pleasantly hoppy, and refreshing and easy to drink.
