Fischer's Brauhaus Mössingen “Neckarmüller Weisse Hell”
€4,20/,5L vom fass @ Neckarmüller Tübinger Gasthausbrauerei on 20 September 2021
Notes: Cloudy straw gold body beneath a massive head of fluffy bright white foam. The head holds well but the lacing is surprisingly limited to just spots and splashes. The aroma delivers banana, sweet wheaty malt, and apple. The flavor follows with even more banana, some added spiciness and clove, and a touch of herbal hops that appear in the finish. The bitterness is low and the finish is short lingering. In the mouth it’s medium to medium-light in body and zesty with a fine-bubbled, elevated carbonation. Overall this is slightly lighter in malt than most, but also more flavorful due to the fermentation. Really enjoyable and highly drinkable.
