Fischer's Brauhaus Mössingen “Neckarmüller Weisse Dunkel”
€4,20/,5L vom fass @ Neckarmüller Tübinger Gasthausbrauerei on 20 September 2021
Notes: Cloudy, very dark mahogany brown body with golden highlights at the base of the glass beneath a short head of off-white foam. The head holds quite well but the lacing is surprisingly limited to just spots and splashes. The aroma suggests caramelish malt with a little chocolate and banana. The flavor delivers notes of sweet caramel, both golden and darker red in color, coffee flavored candy, and a little bit of milk chocolate. The bitterness is low but it finishes mainly dry. In the mouth it’s medium bodied and crisp with a fine-bubbled, somewhat elevated carbonation.
