This is a nice spot located on a kind of a triangle where multiple streets come together. It is located in a very nice building.
As you enter, you walk along a hallway that has some seating on both sides. This leads to the rest of the place.
There is a large beer hall and then several smaller rooms. It has high ceilings and windows so it feels very airy. large pillars, photos and murals give it a classic beer hall feel. The brewing equipment is on view,
It had a nice crowd the night we were there. It is not far from one of the Universities, so I wonder if they get a lot of students and staff.
7 house beers including a NA option plus five guest taps. I stuck with the traditional house beers and thought they were solid and true to style. Mrs. Rover had the house IPA and thought it was decent.
Our server was professional and on the ball.
We didn't try the food but lots of people were eating, so I guess that is another draw to this place.
I enjoyed my stop here as both the beer and atmosphere were good.
