Poured from a 16.9oz bottle into a weizen glass.
A: The beer is a deep gold color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick but spotty lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains bananas, wheat, spices, caramelized malts and some hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of wheat and a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some mildly sweet flavors of bananas, caramel and spices come in. The hops presence is mild but complementary and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, mild kick, very good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while if you’re in the mood for the style.

Brown 500ml bottle, best before 02/2012, drank on 31/01/2012, one day left then!
Poured into one of my 'Franziskaner' weissbier glasses: managed to get the whole bottle in and still produced a magnificent head of foaming white bubbles.
Fairly pale orange body, hazy/misty more than cloudy and with a host of bubbles rising to join their mates in the head.
The smell was of sweet yeasts (if there are such things?) and not much else, I do have a heavy cold though, so not at my best for aromas currently.
The taste doesn't have that strong hefeweizen vanilla/banana kick I like, this is more subtle and the yeasty flavours impart very little else but yeasty flavours. It is a bit citrusy sour compared to the smell as well.
Uncomplicated and a little boring when considered with most beers of this style I've tasted: disappointed. I had to find some nuts to help me finish the beer off, a sign that it wasn't good enough to drink on its once I'm afraid.

I bought this beer a few weeks ago when i was in Germany. I always like a good hefe weizen and when i see some i never had i buy them. Best before july 2011.
Poured this one in a real hefe weizen glass. Nice cloudy yellow beer with three fingers head. Very nice carbonation.
For the rest this beer is a bit disappointing. I have had much better in this style.
Very little to smell and the taste a as flat as can be. It is a drinkable beer on a warm day and that is why i am reviewing it with relative high notes.

It is your typical German Hefe when it comes to color. It is a hazy straw orange. It has a deep head when poured into a weizen glass. There is a lot of foam in the head that makes for some frothy white lace. The aroma is sweet and spicy. There are esters of banana and I would say hard candy. The spicy clove peppery taste due to the yeast is great. The mouthfeel is medium and a little creamy.

It's cloudy gold with burnished highlights, and a thin white head with clumpy lacing. Very pretty. the smell is apples, vanilla, peppers, and caramel. It has some almost witbeer-like characteristics. The taste is sweet malt, then dry, with a sharp sour note and a bone dry sour finish. The mouthfeel is soft with medium carbonation. It would be very drinkable, but that sour and dry finish limits it somewhate. This one strikes me as having potential, but falling just short of being one I'd seek out. It's much better on tap, where the finish is not nearly so sour.

This Hefe pours quite nicely, for about a four finger bright white head. The body is orangish gold and is quite hazy.
Aromas are banana and a weird perfume smell.
This hefe has a unique orange flavor vice bubble gum or banana. This is very tasty.
Final thoughts are that this is a refreshing hefe and has a unique flavor I've never had in a German Hefe Weizen. It reminds me a lot of an American Witbeer.
