I am a bit partial to this beer since drinking it from the tap directly in the Ulmer Familienbrauerei actually taught me what a decent beer is. Goes down all on its own, this one is made to be downed in order to reveal it's flavors, richness, and texture. I can't but recommend if you find it in the sales.

From the bottle, it pours a dark amber with a rapidly dissipating head. Decent malty taste to the mouth and a bit to the nose. While hard to find, it is worth a repeat!
