I good balance of bitter and well-roasted malt, this beer is pretty close to a stout for those unfamiliar with Munich dunkel lagers. This one in particular is a great example of a quality one

Unfiltered dunkel.
Amber color, with some perlage. Hazy. Beige head, one finger, compact.
Malt in the smell, a light caramel, pleasant, with some light burnt notes, and light grassy hints. Balanced and pleasant.
Same notes in the taste, with grassy and bitter roots notes, that, along wih the light burnt, gives this beer a good balance to the malty notes.
Malty again in the aftertaste, with bitterness, almost bitter roots.
Balanced, pleasant. Must try.
