Pale Ale

This is a newer beer from this brewery, or perhaps a seasonal one, because the beer is not part of their 4 bottle lineup on their website. I've had the others and this one is consistent. The beer is super light in color and body for a pale ale. Not a ton going on. The nose at first was a little like a saison but it quickly dissipated and then hardly anything. The taste has just a tiny hint of biscuity maltiness and very little hop. This beer is on the sweeter side and is so light it's hard to get much out of it. It's an inoffensive beer, more like a pale ale lawnmower beer than anything else. It's okay but not much of a taste profile for me. The beer is a bit over carbonated and reminds me a bit of the homebrews I once made where I put a little sugar into the bottles before letting them ferment. It tastes a little like homebrew, which is probably not a great endorsement.
