Modelo 63 is a refreshing golden beer, with tropical aromas and flavors. The beans were selected to give it a medium body and obtain a balanced flavor, neither too sweet nor too bitter. Enjoy it at all times, especially on sunny days. Accompany it with: ceviches, salads, white sauces and spicy foods.

This beer bills itself as a golden ale, but it isn't really that. It's more amber with a nose of English malts. It isn't really an amber ale either. It's somewhere in between perhaps. The beer looks good and pours a really nice head with lacing that hangs on the glass and lasts a good long while. The look is the best part. The nose is the least enjoyable because it just isn't a golden ale. Those slightly off aromas and English malts make this one a bit harder to pin down. The taste is fine. It has a coppery malt flavor, lots of carbonation, and again, just not a golden ale by any stretch that I can see. The beer is listed as one of their four regular offerings and comes in a 12oz bottle or 350ML. It's refreshing, tasty, has a bit of body to it. Not bad, just not a golden ale.
