33 IBU. Salamander 1865 er eit hybrid øl, brygga som ein lager, men det er nytta ein pale ale gjærtype. Resultatet er eit lyst øl som passar godt saman med sjømat, eller aleine i solvarmen. Nytast avkjøla omkring 4 – 5 ˚C.

August 2016: 330 ml bottle, from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of yeast and herbal hops. The flavour is fresh and moderately fruity, also some yeasty notes, and has surprisingly bitter hops in the finish, very bitter aftertaste.
