This Imperial Stout Is a blend of two different Imperial stouts. Both aged in different Speyside Scottish whisky barrels. along with cocao and the zest of 3 different varieties of oranges
The combo giving it a big old school imperial stout vibe with bitter chocolate and orange, along with smoke and caramel.
Don’t expect a sweet or gloopy number. Sinnister doesn’t do that nonsence

Pours a pitch black with a hint of bubbles. A few bubbles make their way up. Smell is wonderful bitter chocolate orange with a hint of whisky. Smell is just perfect. Taste is very similar but not quite as potent. Initial orange chocolate, then pivots to a lasting orange peel bitter whisky. Feel could be richer, but is a nicely carbonated smooth brew. Amazing stuff. Hits all the notes just right. Very much going to try this again if I can, and more from this brewery.
As it warmed up and breathed some more a nice whisky smoke aroma and taste developed. Amazing beer, unsure if it's the best, but that smell is astonishing, with the taste only just a bit behind.
