Garage Beer Classic has a very thick, white head, a mostly-clear, straw appearance, with some fine sediment, bubbles, and heavy lacing. The aroma is of light bread. The flavor is of that, with faint hop bitterness. Garage Beer Classic has a light body and a dry finish.

Perhaps the most neutral beer I have ever had. Nothing interesting about this beer, nothing at all wrong with it. This beer is completely fine if you are not looking for something new and flavorful.

 

I saw this at Costco and quickly decided against it as it was calling itself "light beer" and only available in a case (24). Several visits later I needed a case of cheap beer and decided to try it.
I found it to be a highly effective laxative and since I don't typically need a laxative, I haven't bought any since.
But if I need some garage beer....I know where to get it. I'll have to buy 20 beers I don't need however, so this purchase is unlikely.
I can't recommend this beer to anyone without issues of constipation.
Other than the medicinal properties....it's not bad, better than no beer at all. 95 calories and a good way to lose a couple of pounds really quickly.

 

Garage Beer - Classic pours a lighter, pale, with a small, but long-lasting lacing head. The aroma has a sweet grain cereal note. The flavor is simple, light, sweet, a little syrupy, and bright cereal. Good feel. Overall, it's a pretty solid lager that is on the sweeter side.

 

Pretty nice looking beer: crystal clear light gold color, decent airy head, good streaming bubbles. Nose is very clean, not grainy like so many macros. Taste is also not grainy, just clean malt, sweet with a faint hop presence. Light bodied, very drinkable. It's not my favorite style by far, but I enjoy them on occasion, and this is a better than most macros. It's square on for the style.

Bought locally, code on bottom makes no sense

Pours clear straw yellow, fine layer of foam, lacing and retention are good.

Smell is grainy, corn, sweet malt, wee hint of bitterness.

Taste is grainy, corn, sweet malt, light bitterness in the finish. Finish itself is watery.

I won't drink this again.

 

 

Beer flavored beer their advertisements say. Well, that's kind of true. Garage beer is a basic macro lager but with less flavor than Bud or Coors. Basic lager golden yellow with no head or lacing. Not much aroma at all. No malts detected, a little mild hops and bitterness, very carbonated. A below average beer. I had a PBR right after to compare and it was better than the Garage beer. This is a below average beer that I will not have again

 

 

Tasty and crushable. Just what I wanted.
