Linalool is one of the prized aromatic compounds that give hops their gorgeous essence. We discovered a wild, Wisconsin hop that contains about two and a half times more linalool than any commercial variety - and brewed a beer with them. Enjoy a unique aroma with notes of lilac, pear, and bruised apple, along with a pleasant bitterness. Unlike other hoppy beers, the aromatics will develop over time, becoming more pungent and changing form. You'll be wild about it!

Perfect pairing of a crisp, Fruit/Floral opening with a bitter finish.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium-orange color with a foamy white head. SRM of 11. Pretty average. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of dark resinous tropical melon and apple. Then there is a strong floral presence. (3.75)
Flavor: Strong flavors of apple and flower. Some pine and dank melon, guava, and pineapple are supporting elements. Rather bitter finish. A caramel malt profile underneath. Finishes heavy, resinous, and rather sweet. (4.00)
Feel: Medium-bodied. Okay carbonation. Finishes slightly syrupy and sweet on the palate. (3.25)
Overall: An interesting IPA. I definitely get the dankness and resinous apple flavor. Also very floral with a caramel malt presence sort of reminds me of an English IPA, yet it finishes rather bitter. Definitely a good and darker leaning IPA. (Final Rating: 3.80)

12 oz bottle poured into Pearl Street pint glass.
5/7/19.
Hazy honey gold with a creamy head of 3 fingers. Nice dome on top. Destroys the glass with lacing.
Tangerine and grapefruit nose; toasted malts clear as day; very slight tropical fruit.
Flavor brings dank and grapefruit; tangerine, big fat orange, slight whispers of mango or other tropical fruit; some pine and maybe a hint of honey and toast on the finish. It gets tiresome fairly quickly as it is a bit of a palate punisher, but those first couple of sips are extraordinary.
Feel is tongue-scraping, but not incredibly so; heavy carbonation, lingering resins and oils, medium body, moderate alcohol heat.
Overall, this is a very solid traditional IPA. If you're tired of the New England styles (I never will be), give this one a shot, it may renew your vigor in India Pale Ale.

Nice, different IPA. Ripe melon and citrus (orange). It's not like any IPA I've had which makes me like it more. Can't say it's one I would have several of, but I'll certainly try this again when back in the area.

I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with blood orange peel zest. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

L- slightly hazy golden copper with proper lacing.
S- grassy dankness with pineapple mango tones. Not a neipa so don't expect orange juice on the nose
T- Incredible! A readily available wet hop ale with a unique local hop. Piney, muted citrus, fresh cut grass, heavy apricot, candied guava? So unique!
F- spot on carbonation, slightly soft
O- something different. Kicks ass for that reason.

Pours a huge, frothy head. Nice, fruity-floral hop aroma. Chill haze, straw color. Starts with a very unique hop flavor; bitter, with a very botanical aspect. Lots of citrus rind. Lingering green bitterness overlaid with more citrus rind in the finish.
This is...interesting. Not my favorite, but an interesting adventure. It's a nice aroma, and the flavor is quite unique.
