I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a clear copper with thin white head that is not leaving much lace . The scent had faint coffee notes. The taste was slightly tart with coffee acidity and a mild spice finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

I'm not normally one to find that coffee beers taste like green peppers but this one tasted more like a pepper beer than a coffee one. Everything else was fine I guess but the nose, and especially the flavor was just way off for me.

Breakfast beer pours a darker bronze color with a small, but long lasting head. Nice big creamy coffee aromas. Flavor is lighter, with a good mouthful of coffee, and a hint of vinegar. Body is just a little watery. Overall, its a nice beer, the vinegar off taste does hurt it.
