I'm trying this beer at the brewery. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had sweet bourbon notes. The taste was sweeter leaning with bourbon on the back end. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with subtle carbonation. Overall its a decent beer.

Brewery pour.
Deep dark color with edges of caramel and zero head.
Aromas of sappy caramel, mocha, slight sticky bourbon character, and a slap of coffee.
Flavor is fruity coffee, some dark sugars, caramel, and brown sugar. Hints of bourbon barrel staves but only slightly, and a twinge of lacto sourness.
The feel is a little on the thin side, but provides plenty of stickiness and roast to please the palate.
Overall for $20 a bottle its definitely not worth it, and definitely has some acetobacter in there. Not terrible, not great.

Deux Decadence pours a black color, with a small, brown lacing head. Sweet aroma, hints of wood and bourbon. Flavor is big on bourbon, very sweet, lots of barrel notes. Good body and feel. Overall, its sweeter and lots of barrel.
