We stopped here to have lunch and to try their beers. This building is the same location as where the Standing Stone Brewery was located. Street parking is all that we could find. We were here in 2013 to visit Standing Stone, and the physical layout looks the same now as back then. The bar at the front of the pub, the elevated area for the brewing equipment that you have to walk under to get to the dining area, and the rear, covered patio are all still there. This new brewery has an arcade as part of the features, but I don't recall that from back then. It was mid-afternoon on a Saturday when we were there and the place was not busy, so service was good.
There were 9 beers on tap plus a guest tap that happened to be a cider. We ordered a sampler flight of 4 beers to try to get an overall evaluation of what they offer. Each was brewed well to style, although the IPA used hops that are not likable to me. We gave an overall grade of B- to the beers. I would have liked to try some of the others that sounded interesting, but we were on a schedule.
The food that we ordered was very good. The bar is stocked with wine and spirits for the non beer lovers. Beer is available in growlers to go. It's a nice place in a quaint community and downtown area and very worthy of a visit.
