On draught at Alias Beer Works. 19.2 oz. pour served in a dimpled mug. It's a cloudy, bright golden color with a big, bright white cap and soapy lacing. The nose is subdued with mostly gentle grains and citrus. But the taste is classic Helles: slightly sweet bready grains balanced by tart citrus, and a slight spiciness at the finish. Its mouth feel is super lite and crisp and very drinkable at 5% ABV. Overall, Alpine Slide is a very good local Helles. It was a perfect beer to drink on a brutally hot, sunny day.
