Purchased at Dan Murphy's Noosaville in June 2024 and drunk that day.
L: Thick amber yellow with a quickly disappearing bright-white head. No carbonation can be seen through the murk.
S: Some fruity and tropical darkness is evident, but I had to work hard to find it.
T: Hoppy and dank. Big, juicy citrus and tropical notes, including lime and guava, and reaching towards, but never hitting, the shampoo note beloved of hoppy, hazy IPAs. Rich caramel malt body. This is very, very nice.
M: The mouthfeel is soft with a slight carbonic kick, but the hop load gives it that soapy mouthcoating feel. It's weird initially, but it quickly settles down to background noise.
o: This juicy yet hoppy beast was a great treat on the first day of my tropical holiday!
Cheers!
