L - Medium dark reddish-amber. Clear. Tall, off-white persistent head.
S - Sweet bready malt.
T - Sweet and malty. Bread, a little nuttiness, a little spice.
F - Medium-light.
O - Easy drinking, but flavorful. Nice to have this around all year.

This beer pours a darker red color. The head was less than a finger, white, and frothy. There's lots of carbonation bubbles rising in the beer.
The nose is rich smelling. I get strong malt notes. There's also a slight hint of sweetness.
The taste you get hit with the carbonation bubbles, first (I guess that would be more into the feel part). You then get a bit of sweetness. Malt.
As said before the carbonation bubbles are really felt. It is a bit of a watery beer. But not too bad in that direction.
Overall, not bad. Glad I picked it up.

Poured froma chilled glass into a Perfect Pint.
Appearance (Look)--Rich reddish amber with a touch of cloudiness; eggshell colored head that stayed for over a minute.
Smell--Clover honey, citrus, and tart cherry.
Taste-Malt, honey, cream, and biscuit
Feel--Slightly above average body, with modest carbonation.
Overall--One of the better märzens I've had but sweeter than most; extra flavorful and not exactly what I would call a session beer.

Rubee pours a dark amber color with good clarity and active carbonation rising in the glass. Compact head of creamy parchment colored foam that laces very well around the edges, as well as maintains a healthy skim on top for a good while.
Dry aroma, toasted grains with a kiss of fruity plum. Very nice for a Märzen.
Feels very smooth, with pleasant flavors of nutty toasted malts and light plum notes. Clean and tasty, with interesting complexity from the yeast esters. Not especially sweet, it is well balanced with a hint of earthy bitterness in the aftertaste. Body is light and carbonation is a shade low, but overall this is a great year-round Märzen to have available in NW Wisconsin.
Recommended if you haven't had Viking for awhile, or tried the revamped Valkyrie lineup.
Caveat: Without a bottle date it's hard to determine freshness.
I've bought old 4-packs that I had to dump unfortunately. Ask retailer about freshness if possible.
