On Nitro draught at the brewery.
A black pour, thick abundant head and generous lacing that tends to slide.
Subtle malt sweetness, nutty, a little earthy, hints of molasses, roasted coffee, a very smooth and creamy dry finish. Very good mouthfeel, and represents the style well.

Enjoyed this Oatmeal Stout - fresh - as part of a flight at the brewery. Dense foam. Dark brew. Smells wonderfully earthy and malty. Taste follows with nutty flavors and balanced light sweetness. Finishes of light roasted coffee.
Mouth is full and oaty smooth. High low to medium carbonation.
Overall, a delightful and familiar Stout. Well done, as are all the brews at Stone Silo.
