$3.19 for a 1pt 0.9 fl oz bottle. Unkown ABV. Cool looking bottle. Bottle conditioned.

Pours out to a clear medium amber, forming a tall sudsy white rocky head with excellent retention and a solid thick sheet of styrofoam lace. The carbonation is medium. Aroma of requisite bananas, cloves and crackers. Mouthfeel is light and spritzy with a light body. The taste is really good...bananas, cloves, and what appears to be a small percentage of smoked malt lingering in the finish, which is pretty unique amongst dunkel weizens. The aftertaste is very crisp, clean, and lightly dry. Very well balanced and very drinkable. I plowed through this bottle in no time. Would be perfect for summer with some austrian potato salad, slaw, and weinerschnitzel. Lighter than most dunkel weizens, which makes it really easy to drink.

Really liked this. Would probably buy it again. A great anytime beer, but also a great summer beer. Recommended.

Color: pours light brown and sits a light orange-brown. head is minimal

Smell: wheat dominates with clove and banana. some plum and raisin notes.

Taste: prominent wheat, clove and banana. somewhat of a Munich or Vienna malt bready/melanoidin character. dry finish with a strange plastic taste that creeps in there sometimes

Mouthfeel: medium body with medium carbonation

Notes: decent. not much else comes to mind

Cloudy copper orange. A little light for a dunkel, but too dark for a regular hefe. Three fingers of billowy, off-white to beige head. Some lacing. Several chunks of yeast on the bottom of the glass (thanks to my swirl and dump). Expected nose, if a little subdued, of wheat, bananas, clove, and a little bubblegum.

Toasted grains and soft wheat malt up front. Tangy fruit and caramelized bananas follow. Hint of cloves and toffee. Spicy, peppery hoppiness into the finish. Banana aftertaste lingers, along with toasted grains. Not bad. Medium body with a bit too much carbonation. Makes it refreshing, but a little too prickly.
