Copenhagen 13/3 2025. 44 cl can from Meny, Vermlandsgade, Kbh. S. Black can with a white stripe. A little rusty squid as motif.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,2 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with sweet and boozy odor of overripe tropical fruits mingling with a sharp scent of citrus fruits. Mango and passion fruit. Fermented. Sweet alcohol. Sharp citrus and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a rather strong sweetness followed and balanced by a strong bitterness. A little rough. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet fermented undertone. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
A quite boozy DIPA which doesn't try to hide its ABV.
