It is a privilege to bring you our second stout - Duality - brewed in collaboration with the legends of dark beers from Tallinn - Põhjala.
The base beer was tuned towards layers of malty, coffee and chocolate notes. We share a common interest towards great coffee so that was a must have adjunct. Ugandan Vanilla beans compliment the flavor profile on top of a T H I C C imperial stout at 12%
Relying on the expertise of the Põhjala crew we chose Brazilian coffee beans from Santa Cecília from a Tallin roastery Paper Mill which is a specialty roastery focused on ethical, light-roast coffee. We hope you enjoy this beer as much as we did creating it. Cheers!

Copenhagen 30/4 2026. 40 cl from tap at Taphouse, Lavendelstræde, Kbh. K.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small, light beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of pastry barely covering a potent scent of dark alcohol. Caramel and brown sugar with a touch of syrup. Chocolate and lactose.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, fat, creamy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is dry like bitter coffee without a sugar cube.
Satisfying bitter coffee bomb.
