Soko Bag Korean Fried Chicken & Beer "Soko Bag's Hazy IPA"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
$16/4-pk @ Soko Bag on 9 August 2025
Notes via stream of consciousness: All of the Soko Bag beers are brewed by Animated Brewing in Coatesville, PA. It's poured a very hazy amber colored body beneath a finger's width of creamy off-white foam. The aroma is sweetish, floral, and fruity with some berry, orange, and pine coming through clearly. The taste remains the same. There's more to the fruitiness with some papaya, mango, grapefruit, and earthiness. A median bitterness balances the sweetish malt that seems to contain both oats and wheat, and it finishes mostly dry with some residual berry, earthiness, and pine lingering. It's nicely balanced and rounded. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth. nicely done.
