MAY 2026.
DDH IPA Single Hop, Slovenian Styrian Dragon as the only hop.
33cl can (€5).
Freshly opened, the aroma is not very intense, mostly herbaceous.
When poured, it is golden in color, rather opaque (but not hazy), with a firm, albeit light, head.
On the palate, it has a medium body with low carbonation.
The entry on the palate is characterized by notes of yellow-fleshed fruit (peach, apricot), with tropical highlights (guava, pineapple), quickly followed by more herbal (eucalyptus) and resinous notes that close the drink with a dry finish, without any notable residual bitterness.
The malty component is noticeable, without being bothersome.
A balanced and interesting beer for understanding the aromatic characteristics of this hop native to the Styria region of Slovenia.
