BJ's Brewhouse & Restaurant

I visited here for dinner while passing through Slidell on the interstate. I was not expecting to find much craft beer in this town, so seeing this restaurant on my map app was a pleasant surprise. It is a standard BJ's Brewhouse, similar to all the others that I have seen. It is located in a giant, modern shopping megaplex, as so many of them seem to be. As they all are, this BJ's is open, bright, well-appointed and pleasant. There seemed to be some production equipment, but I don't know which beers were brewed locally, or which may have been shipped from another BJ's production facility. As always, the food menu was massive and the food was delicious. My server was friendly and efficient.

There seemed to be about 20-25 beers on tap, almost all from BJ's, along with a few bottles and cans. The beers I had were of a high quality and good, although BJ's never strays too far from mainstream, popular styles like IPA, porter and stout. I like the BJ's chain because you can always count on it for great food and very good beer wherever you find one.
