With the strange advent of releasing Fest biers in July (we aren’t joking, it is getting a little ridiculous), we wanted to buck the trend. Knowing ours will probably be the last “Oktoberfest” to hit the market, we leaned away from the traditional Fest Bier profile and moved closer to Märzen territory. Due to the late release, we brewed this with a slightly darker profile than a typical Märzen and juiced it up to keep us warm if it lingers into the colder fall weather. Another beer that will force you to double take when you realize it is 7.2%.
