Poured into a pint glass from a bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a fluffy white head. Smells of citrus and floral hops, nice blend and aroma. Tastes of piney and citrus hops, decent grain backbone, nice lasting piney bite. Beer is light bodied, slightly overcarbonated, but still fairly easy drinking. Overall, a very good beer.

Attractive clear orangey-amber with plenty of foam in the Ciney snifter. Pleasant mouth-filling flavor and sudsy feel. Light flowery aroma.
Just a touch of the herbal hops. Quite moderate bitterness, though there is a persistent tang in the aftertaste. Lightly fruity, maybe a little pine and a hint of candied grapefruit. This is really a likable and drinkable brew. A little stronger than a typical IPA, and a little less alcoholic than a typical DIPA. It's a sweet and mellow spot.
Extremely drinkable. This is one for the fridge when you want a hoppy beer with a little oomph that doesn't bite back. From the 12 oz sixer purchased at The Market in Anacortes, on sale no less.

12 oz bottle served in an American pint balance. Nice hop forward but still well balanced that I could drink quite a bit of.

Orange pale and cloudy.. Head that is thick and stays with great lace.. A/T pine, slight fruitiness, bready pale malt, alcohol becomes stronger as the beer warms.. Nice smooth slick body.. I don't really get the winter part in this beer, this is a straight up ipa.

12oz bottle. This appears to be the non-organic version of the long-standing Winterfish offering from this brewery.
This beer pours a mildly hazy, medium golden amber colour, with four fat fingers of puffy, broadly foamy, and rather bubbly ecru head, which leaves some random splotches of sudsy lace around the glass as it slowly recedes.
It smells of bready, doughy pale and caramel malt, a bit of earthy and gamey yeast, a red grapefruit-dominated citrus grove fruitiness, wet pine needles, and further leafy, somewhat perfumed hops. The taste is big orange and white grapefruit citrus flesh, grainy caramel malt, a mild stoney flintiness, edgy leafy, piney hops, and a subtle probing booze astringency.
The bubbles are fairly laid-back in their plain and earnest frothiness, the body a pleasant enough medium weight, and mostly smooth, the hops making a few nicks on that particularly shiny new coat. It finishes on the sweet side, the latent fruitiness of the hops combining with the lingering grainy malt to more than offset any aspiring bitterness or alcohol ingress.
While an agreeably hoppy affair, once again, like its organic forebear, I'm not sure where the winter seasonality angle comes into play - this is straight-ahead IPA territory being plied here. And speaking of that 'other' Winterfish, if my memory serves me right (and it very well might not), it was a whole lot fuller and maltier than the one sitting before me. Maybe.
