Brewed with honey malts and Summit hops, this one-time offering is remarkably devoid of flavor. I keep harking back to that old commercial that asks, Wheres the beef? only this time its Wheres the beer?
Theres no aroma, no carbonation, and the submerged flavor does nothing to gain attention. A modest wash of bittering hints at hop flavor, but its just a hint. The sunny copper body shows filtered clarity, and the eclipsed head left an abstraction of lace that looked like Arabic lettering. But this unassuming pale ale is unmemorable. There is nothing wrong or right about it worth commenting upon.
