Poured into a traditional kölsch stick glass. Poured a cloudy, dark orange with a high amount of carbonation, one inch thick white head that lingered for a couple of minutes. The appearance caught me off guard being that traditional kölsch beers are clear and bright yellow in color. The smell is very malty. Taste is malts up front, bready, a bit of a citrus note from the hops, very balanced. Highly drinkable, good representation of the style.
