500ml bottle in the Black Forest. Ur-Weisse Dunkel is dark brown, almost black. The beer has a malty aroma with hints of coffee. The taste is also malty and slightly roasted with a coffee-like finish.

Quite dark bronw color, light beige foam, quite compact and creamy. Good appearance.
Banana, caramel and yeast, cloves.
The taste is quite good too, maybe just a little too sweet, onthe caramel side. Phenolic, also.
In the aftertaste a good bitterness, quite evident for the style. The caramel, cooked plusm, cloves.
Pleasant and drinkable.
