From the bottle, it pours a hazy amber with a modest head, soon diminishing to a ring, but it does leave lacing. Pepper and malt in the nose. The mouth gets a lightly malty beer with a peppery finish.

Medium to deep amber coloration with a medium, foamy head that doesn't last. Floral, fruity nose with just a tad of pepperiness coming through, also a slighty unpleasant sweet perfume smell. This beer is brewed with pink peppercorns and that really comes through in the taste. It has a really nice floral, fruity, slightly sweet and mildly spicy pepperiness to it that harmonizes quite well with its otherwise fruity and herbal notes of mango, grapefruit and cloves. This is not your typical Pilsner, not just because of the pepper, but also because of it's hoppy, fruity character and light bitterness. It kind of reminds me of a Pale Ale, actually.
