-pours nicely, head forms and stays
-light golden color with normal carbonation
-I smell a ton of malt sweetness and a little bit of the typical German hop aroma
-very sweet taste up front, almost reminds me of a malt liquor
-it drys out and becomes well balanced mid way though
-picking up some skunkyness at the end (which is easy to believe due to this being in a green bottle)
-simple and sessionable
-at least it has more malt flavor than its American counterparts

A - Produced a nice 1 finger white head with decent lacing. Appearance was a clear amber golden body.
S - Smelled very grainy
T/M - One can def. taste more malt as well as feel more carbination compared to the No.1
D - Drinkable beer, but I will stink to the No.1

This beer pours with a lot more darker golden colored body, than its pilsner sister. It's quite clear. The foam produced is bright white and sticky in consistency.
I detect grainy huskiness and lemony hops in the aroma.
The taste is a bit sweet, with the Hallertau hops cutting in the end for a nice lemony finish.
This brew is very thirst quenching and refreshing. It's well carbonated and has a slight spice, but no burn.

Found in a Moscow grocery store, this green 33 cl bottle has a spiraled neck and a ringed pull-top. The gold and green label has just lettering, with "for the fun of it" in German under the name. Purity law applies. Best before 01/31/07, I opened it on 4/30/06.
Pours a clear vaguely amber gold under a short-lived 1/2 finger off-white head that is gone without a trace in no time. The nose is strong of skunk or cabbage, with an undertone of spicey hops. The mouth is well-carbonated and pretty light. There's lots of grainy, bready malt here, a bit on the sweet side but not unpleasantly so. The hops are very subdued, really only emerging after the swallow to offer a touch of bitter dry on the jowls. Either the skunkiness faded, or I got used to it. It's a drinkable brew, but nothing worth seeking out.
