Pours a cloudy, dark amber coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity, caramel malt and tropical/citrus hops, as well as some herbal accents and just a hint of pine. Taste is a good balance of biscuity, caramel malt and slightly floral and resinous, herbal hops, with tropical and citrus notes of grapefruit, lime peel, mango and just a hint of coconut, red berries and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some citrus/tropical hops and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This is quite a nice modern interpretation of an old school IPA that has those bitter, resinous hops and a caramel malt backbone to it, but also brings some rather diverse fruity citrus and tropical hops to the table, as well as some herbal accents, creating quite an interesting and flavorful overall balance.

From the bottle, it pours a slightly hazy darker amber with a small, soon diminishing to a ring, head. In the nose, it is dark fruit and tropical fruits. In the mouth, it is a medium bodied tropical fruity malt beer.
