This is one typical grey beer. Nothinh fancy, just drink it and forget it ever existed....no no, that wouldn't be nice because this beer is not bad nor good. Nice kind of twisted bottle, i will upload the photo of it. This is a Welde 2011 but i will rate it in the 2010 version because in don't think there is much difference.
Best before december 2012.
Poured in my Struise glass the beer is nice lightyellow with two fingers head. carbonation is far far away. Citrusy notes. That's it. Next beer!

33cl bottle poured into Celebrator chalice
BBE 31 DEC 2011
A- Dark amber hazy body with a creamy 2 finger head that has average to good retention and lacing.
S- Has a paprika quality, slightly smokey, a little woodiness amongst some wholemeal bread.
T- Paprika comes through again with a solid malt backbone, hop bite in the finish adds balance.
***As it warms, munich metallic toasty malt quality comes through with that classic wholemeal bread note in the finish. Tastes more like a dunkel with a little warmth.
M- Moderate carbonation and body. Clean on the palate.
D- What an interesting beer. Flavour profile really changed as it warms. Alcohol is well hidden. Flavour/smell profile is interesting while being tasty and enjoyable. Good stuff.

Makes a great tight forming off white head that sticks very well for a while and the lacing is great too. The body is golden amber, and well filtered.
The aroma is a mix of vanilla, cherry, and red wine.
The taste is maple, a little bourbon, and slight cherry.
Mouth feel wise, it's warming all the way through, but rich with carbonation, making this an enjoyable late fall brew. Not too syrupy, just right.
To call this a bock is probably incorrect, but it's about the best I could find for categorization.
This beer has an Australian theme, and boasts hops from Ringwood, Australia. Altogether, a treat from a German Brewery!
This is the first limited release from this brewery as I know it, and they need to keep this trend up!
