Pours reddish with about an inch of dissipating head. The nose is insane. Super funky and sour, with notes of rhubarb, jolly ranchers, raspberry, sour cherries, slight barnyard funk, and grapes.
The taste is mildly sour. Funky and slightly bitter. Maybe a hint of baby diaper. Oak, muddy/earthy, slightly medicinal, sour patch kids candy, and a hint of melon. Sounds odd, but this is also a bit meaty. Kind of a smoked ham taste to it.
The mouthfeel is fairly light and dry. Aftertaste is sour and funky. Super interesting beer. I'm really happy to try this one, but one is good for me.
