Tap pour at the taproom. Served chilled in a pint glass.
Dark brown colored body. Light tan head with the pour. Leaves behind a thin lacing sheet.
Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, and a whiff of pine and citrus.
Taste follows the nose, with balanced flavors of roasted caramel malts, chocolate, and lesser concentrations of citrus orange/grapefruit and pine resin. Mellow mix in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Coats the mouth with a smooth texture. Medium bitterness. Very good carbonation.
Right on for style, with a good balance of smells and flavors.
