I arrived about an hour after opening on a weekday and it was pretty much dead, as expected. This would have been a huge plus for me except that, despite it being in the middle of the Olympics, they had the TVs muted and the music up loud. And to make it worse, their entire playlist consisted of crappy covers of crappy songs. It could have been a relaxing afternoon oasis from the heat and humidity, but instead I spent the time trying to ignore the music and figure out what was going on with sports with no sound.

The service was unfortunately not that much better. Despite there being only 3 people in the place, I had to wait 5-10 min with an empty glass even though I told the server that I wanted to finish my current pint and then would be ready for another pour. Both service employees were more concerned with their phones and talking with one of the other patrons than providing service.

The beer selection was good, with a nice range of traditional British styles, the obligatory IPAs, and some that drew on Singaporean and SEA flavors.

I didn't try any food.
