Single 16 ounce can from the brewery - packaged June 3, 2024.
Collaboration with Alley Kat and the Edmonton Riverhawks baseball club.
Pours a bright slightly cloudy apricot colour with a finger of tight bubbly white head that dissipates shortly.
The nose is initially muted but as warms notes of citrus - orange, grapefruit - pine and some grainy cereal malt.
Sweet cereal malt on the palate with a decent hit of orange, softer piney notes and a backend grapefruit peel bitterness.
Honestly light end of medium mouthfeel - crisp, brightly carbonated and very easy drinking. Really good, but not clear I would have pulled WC IPA from it - drinks more like a well hopped pale ale and suspect perfect for the ballpark for which it was intended.
